Black Chintzware, Lidded Mustard Jar, Transferware, Made in Japan, 1950s, 

Here's a rarity! While this piece has some age and use related issues, it's a great find and an interesting addition to any chintz collection. No chips or cracks, but crazing noted on both pieces.

Please do note: Seams are visible of the applied transferware, as is usually noted on these heavily patterned pieces. No spoon.
