**Gloriously Scruffy and Beautifully Imperfect**
These books are offered in their authentic, unrestored condition and show genuine signs of considerable age.
Expect foxing, patina marks, discoloration, inscriptions from previous owners, rubbed and bumped corners, worn cloth bindings, faded gold lettering, and general shelf wear.
**Important condition note:** The cream-colored Tennyson's Poetical Works, third from the top in the horizontal stack photograph, has a loose cover. The other books also show age-related wear and imperfections.
Some pages feature charming handwritten inscriptions and old ownership markings, lovely reminders of the people who treasured these books before us.
